The launch of Google’s new Stadia gaming platform is merely days away, and we’ve just received confirmation of the first games you’ll be able to stream.
- Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
- Destiny 2: The Collection
- GYLT
- Just Dance 2020
- Kine
- Mortal Kombat 11
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration
- Samurai Shodown
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
- Thumper
- Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
A reasonable launch line-up, then, with some big adventures in the likes of Assassin’s Creed, Red Dead Redemption and the Tomb Raider reboot trilogy. It’ll be interesting to see how these behave when played over an internet connection rather than directly from your console’s hard drive.
If you manage to get through those before the end of the year – or if you’ve already had the pleasure of experiencing them on another platform – then Google assures us that another fourteen games are on the way before 2020. Full list below:
- Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle
- Borderlands 3
- Darksiders Genesis
- Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
- Farming Simulator 19
- Final Fantasy XV
- Football Manager 2020
- Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
- GRID
- Metro Exodus
- NBA 2K20
- Rage 2
- Trials Rising
- Wolfenstein: Youngblood
The Google Stadia package – which consists of a Google Chromecast and a Stadia Controller – is currently available to pre-order from the Google Store for £119.
