Slightly Mad Studios’ first game under Codemasters is Fast & Furious: Crossroads

Slightly Mad Studios is best known as the developer of Project CARS and its sequel – two highly acclaimed games in the racing simulator genre. The company has recently been acquired by Codemasters, which is itself another specialist within the racing genre with the annual F1 games, GRID and the DIRT series in its portfolio.

Slightly Mad’s first project as a subsidiary of Codemasters isn’t another Project CARS sequel, but instead a licensed title from Bandai Namco. Fast & Furious: Crossroads is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in May 2020, and will hopefully do a better job at representing the movies than last generation’s Fast & Furious: Showdown.

Martyn has been writing about video games for over a decade, and playing them for over twice as long.
